The Tobizo Range of rods from Zenaq is the absolute pinnacle in offshore casting performance. Using the highest quality Toray carbon [TORAYCA® T1100G] they've created a blank that is right at the top in feel, cast ability and angler comfort. The front 'hexagon grip" is another innovative feature in the Tobizo range. Designed around the shape of the hand when fingers are gripped it gives the angler a tighter handle on the rod when fighting that fish of a lifetime. These rods are the culmination of 20 years of fine tuning casting rods, the result is nothing short of first class.
The 80-200 is the Grand-daddy of the range and features Fuji silicon MNSG Guides for the best performance when casting a heavier class of line. For a heavy GT casting rod it still has a nice cushiony tip excellent for casting big lures all day. It'll work stickbaits and poppers with ease up to 200g with a max cast weight of 230g. The bottom end of this rod is extremely powerful, stopping fish in their tracks. This power in the butt also gives it the ability to lift stubborn beast of the bottom without putting too much strain on the angler. The Tobizo TC80-200G has been designed specifically for chasing XOS GT but is also great for species like large tuna, giant kingfish and Spanish mackerel when they're eating bigger baits.
