The 83-150 Features Fuji silicon MNSG K Guides for the best performance when casting a heavier class of line. The nice Springy tip makes it perfect for working larger stickbaits up to around 170g with a max cast weight of 180g yet It still possesses enough stiffness in the mid section to work poppers to around 130g. The bottom end of this rod is extremely powerful, stopping fish in their tracks. This power in the butt also gives it the ability to lift stubborn beast of the bottom without putting too much strain on the angler. The Tobizo TC83-150G has been designed specifically for chasing big tuna and GT but is also great for species like large kingfish and Spanish mackerel as well as extracting giant reef fish from the coral flats.
