The Tyrant 120P is a long-casting surface popper that delivers a huge impact for it’s size and weight. A heavy stab of the rod produces a deep cracking sound and explosive splash with bubbles. Smaller stabs of the rod get the Tyrant blooping with more subtle splashes and bubble trails. It’s asymmetrical shape, low center of gravity, and tail-weighted design make it easy to cast long distances and work all day with minimal fatigue.
Built with a tough dual-layer shell construction, welded stainless steel through-wire and ultra tough terminals mean it’s built to take punishment straight out of the box. Staples Tyrant 120P comes pre-rigged with heavy duty BKK trebles taking the guess work out of hook placement and size. Tyrant 120P is deadly on a wide range of species including smaller GT's, kingfish, mackerel, tuna species, queenfish and a wide range of large reef species including coral trout, red bass and trevallies.
