The Zenaq Bamboo Works range of rods are inspired by traditional Japanese bamboo  rods. Every detail is carefully crafted to resemble and feel like bamboo but with a high quality carbon blank. The different colours in thread throughout the rod were specifically designed to seamlessly match the rods colour and the look of Bamboo. Not only do the Zenaq Bamboo works feature traditional artistic flare they also feature beautiful wood grain grips and an anodized gold aluminum type reel seat. To protect your reel from damage the Bamboo works range comes standard with Zenaq reel stop rubbers which help to stop the reel seat rubbing on the metal causing damage.

The Trad 87RG was originally designed with eging (squid fishing) in mind, it has proven itself to be a very versatile rod for many applications. The Trad 87RG has been used from everything from light surf casting to even fishing bream with bait, each to their own. One thing is for sure this rod is sure to stand out whether its being used or put in your fishing display at home. 

The Zenaq Bamboo Works Trad 87 RG best suits reel size 2500-3000 from both Daiwa and Shimano. These rods also also come with a Japanese Silk rod bag with some very nice traditional artwork!!
