The Bana Pen by Banana Jig is a custom made lure from the infamous charter captain Yukihiro Iwasaki from Hirado, Nagasaki. The Battle Hardened 240 is made from a hybrid of balsa wood for the center and hard urethane foam for the outside making it tough and battle ready. This lure works best with a long slow sweep of the rod giving a distinctive S-shaped motion in the water.
The Battle Hardened is a big lure for its weight so it has a lot of attracting power without being hard to cast for long sessions. The Battle Hardened Pen works well for a variety of species such as GT, Kingfish, Tuna, Spanish Mackerel and other big reef fish.
