Hand carved and shaped from fully reclaimed timber and painted with no less than 10 different finishing coats, Budd’s Baits are at the pinnacle of the hand made lure market. Manufactured in Zimbabwe by Greg Budd – an international contact lure designer for some of the worlds largest lure brands.
To go with the incredible finish the lures also have great action and most importantly they catch fish! The SlickFin 125 has been designed predominately for trolling or vibing off the top tow point but can also be retrieved from the nose of the lure and swam as a regular stickbait. When used as a stickbait the lure has a nice big rolling action creating lots of flash from the exquisite foil finish. when trolled or vibed it tracks nice and straight with a lively vibration attracting any fish within striking distance.
The main target species are tuna, mackerel and other pelagics, however the reef dwellers are also going to love the SlickFin!
