CB One's famous Enfinity rods have been revised with all new materials and design, focusing on building a no-compromise topwater rod. The new models are lighter and stronger while at the same time improving sensitivity and lure action.
For strength and durability, 24 ton carbon has been used as the main material in the blank along with 4 Axis carbon in the lower blank to improve lifting power and responsiveness. The unsanded finish keeps the weight low as well as maintaining the stealth look of the rod. The material improvements make this rod fantastic for all day casting while also fighting fish more efficiently.
The Enfinity 78/15 is suited to PE 5-8 lines and cast weights of up to 140g. It is ideally suited to stickbaits with it's moderate taper; the rod flexes nicely through the top third of the rod to swim the trickiest of floating baits with ease. The responsive nature of the blank does allow it to pull medium cup poppers through the water effectively, as well as impart lively twitching and darting action to the lures. The shorter length of this rod makes it ideal for battling giant fish with heavy drag. It's rated to fish up to 15kg drag at 45 degrees! In addition, the 78/15 has a slightly shorter handle length and lower reel seat positioning. This makes it more comfortable for smaller anglers to use, as well as give extra comfort to all anglers during a long battle.
This rod is perfect for chasing large yellowfin and bluefin tuna, XL kingfish, GT and topwater dogtooth!
The 78/15 is equipped with all Titanium framed SiC Fuji guides, for lightness and sensitivity.
