The research and development team at Nature Boys have undertaken an incredible amount of time to develop a diving popper that is the perfect kingfish catching machine. The Pelican was put through it's paces in the treacherous waters around Japans remote islands targeting large kingfish, this extensive testing provided excellent results with numerous great captures!
The action is simple but very effective, it dives just beneath the surface creating an enticing bubble trail with a slight body roll and tail kick. The Pelican can be used with many different retrieves. Traditional sweeps, more aggressive stabs to create more pop and commotion, a chopping action similar to a walk the dog is also very effective.
As well as kingfish this lure will be an excellent choice when targeting tuna, amberjack, trevally among many others.
