The DDT jig is the evolved version of the original Hooker Jig designed by the legendary Matsutani San. The Hooker has been one of the most sort after and successful jigs ever created, accounting for countless trophy captures with monster dogtooth tuna being the main target. The DDT continues this legacy with improved action and fall characteristics!
The DDT is a classic high pitch jig with a lively side to side action. This action makes it and excellent option not only for dogtooth but for other pelagic species like big tuna, kingfish and amberjack. It is quite short for it's weight which makes it great for flicking and hopping around the bottom for reef dwellers like snapper, pearl perch and coral trout. This jig falls fast and fairly straight, which is ideal for targeting mobile schools of pelagic fish or predators in high current areas.
