CB One's famous Enfinity rods have been revised with all new materials and design, focusing on building a no-compromise topwater rod. The new models are lighter and stronger while at the same time improving sensitivity and lure action.
For strength and durability, 24 ton carbon has been used as the main material in the blank along with 4 Axis carbon in the lower blank to improve lifting power and responsiveness. The un-sanded finish keeps the weight low as well as maintaining the stealth look of the rod. The material improvements make this rod fantastic for all day casting while also fighting fish more efficiently.
The Enfinity 86/14 is suited to PE 5-8 lines and casts lure weights of up to 160g. The Enfinity 86/14 is a powerful rod for casting long distances at large pelagic species. It is best suited for throwing larger stickbaits but will comfortably cast smaller cup poppers and pencil poppers with ease. The 8'6 length is great for casting long distance accurately, especially for fast moving schools or fish or for reaching into the backs of breaking waves. The 86/14 is a great choice for shore based anglers looking for a powerful rod for large kingfish, tuna and GT. This is an ideal rod for 50kg class tuna, 25kg class yellowtail kingfish, mid sized GT's and big reefies. The guide set up allows for a 150lb leader to be smoothly pulled through on a 10000-18000 reel from either Shimano or Daiwa.
The 86/14 is equipped with all Titanium framed SiC double foot Fuji guides, with separate wrapping between the legs for light weight and maximum blank action. The EVA grips are as thin as possible to help apply force when needed as well as being tapered to add to aesthetic value.
