The UC 88L has been designed as a light option for targeting sea bass and river run trout in Japan. For it's length it still has that amazing crisp feel and snappy recovery we've come to expect from FCL whilst remaining incredibly light in the hand.
This edition of the UC 88L is built with a cork handle for lightness and feel, along with premuim Fuji Titanium Torzite guides for corrosion resistance and sensitivity.
The UC88L is an excellent option when casting little metals, minnows and plastics at school sized tailor and Australian salmon, finesse fishing the coral flats or flicking and hoping small jigs and plastics for flathead and dart from the beach. It'll also be fantastic for targeting large river and lake trout from the shore.
Balances perfectly with a 2500-4000 size reel with a compact 3000 size being best.
