FCL Labo Ultimate Cast 83EXT-L (40x) Casting Rod

The FCL Labo UC 83EXT-L (40X) was designed for targeting fussy kingfish from either shore or from a boat. Its longer length of 8'3" helps to swing reasonably light lures great distances whilst still fishing a smaller size reel (6000sw). The very crisp 40x carbon gives the rod a great feel and provides great elasticity in the tip to work even the most difficult of stickbaits. Designed to fish and chop stickbaits the UC83EXT-L will still comfortably be able to work smaller cup diving poppers and small cup poppers in the 80-90g range. This rod was also designed to comfortably work jigs up to 150g making it a very versatile rod especially when targeting pelagic fish from the shore. Perfect for chasing kingfish, longtail tuna, mackerel, mulloway and trevally.

Built with a new 40x carbon fiber material this rod is lighter, crisper and stronger than ever. Featuring a Fuji Titanium framed Silicone insert RV stripper guide and a full set of Fuji Titanium framed Silicone insert K guides.   

Designed to balance Daiwa and Shimano SW reels in the 5000-6000 size range as well as 8000-14000 size reels when line capacity is needed.
