The Glide Stickpop 22 diving popper is a user friendly swimming/diving popper that's a great cross over between popper and stickbait. With a fairly aggressive sweep of your rod the lure has a nice noisy bloop then dives and swims with lively body roll action. Pop it short and hard to get a more conventional loud blooping action with lots of bubbles. The Stickpop 22 is deadly on GT's, kingfish, tuna species, spanish mackerel and a wide array of large reef predators like coral trout, red bass and wrasse.
All models in the Glide range are made of a composite material, with a lightweight core material. They are reinforced with an outer matrix resin and fibers (glass carbon kevlar titanium hybrid) just like a surfboard. This design comes from years of experience in surfboard manufacturing, the lure designs and materials come from the same shaping room as Glide surfboards. The lamination of reinforcement provides unrivalled resistance, the interior materials give incredible buoyancy, and a reactive lifelike action to the lures. The whole manufacturing process makes Glide lures some of the toughest and most durable on the market.
