The Chugaya Popper has been designed by the renowned Japanese angler Mr. Hideyuki Furuya. Mr.Furuya has hunted yellowfin and bluefin tuna for many years in Tsugaru Channel, Wakayama, Mie, Okinawa and Yaeyama islands capturing some real giants along the way.

it works best with a steady sweep and pause creating a beautiful foamy bubble trail. you can also work it with more of an aggressive stab creating more splash a commotion. Or a more continuous sweep and wind action.

This lure has be specifically designed for targeting big tuna but will also be suitable for casting at GT, kingfish and Spanish mackerel. 

This lure is handmade by Hideyuki Tanaka, a master craftsman of handmade lure. it has a high strength timber body and 2mm through wire construction.
