This pack rod for native Japanese trout was created in collaboration with Kinoe, a company focused on backcountry fishing. Kinoe considers its headwater tackle to be mountain gear, offering the operability, versatility, and portability you expect from Kinoe.
The HK series features a straightforward, regular-taper carbon blank, and is equipped with LY guides (stainless steel/SiC rings) on the butt and choke to accommodate the versatility of the line used. The reel seat is made of natural oak wood for a great feel through the rod blank and a unique look.
Designed for native Japanese trout it will be an ideal match for tight country rainbow trout, brown trout, bream and smaller natives.
This rod is designed for finesse fishing and will perfectly match smaller 500-2000 size reels from Shimano and Daiwa.
It can be stored extremely compactly with a retracted size of 35cm meaning it will fit just about anywhere. All Huerco rods come with a separate storage bag and tube.
