The Huerco versatile spinning model XT611-4S has been made even stronger and has been added to the XT Power Plus series. The Power Plus specification allows it to handle large lures up to 2 ounces (60g) with ease. This rod is very versatile and would suit a travelling angler who wants to throw a variety of profiles including stickbaits, smaller poppers and soft baits. Target species for this rod would be smaller trevally, emperors, mangrove jacks, barramundi, murray cod and Saratoga.
The XT "Expeditionary Tuned" series is a "tough" model that covers a wide range of fishing needs, from everyday fishing to hard fishing trips. The XT series combines different materials to maximize the characteristics of each rod. It has a good balance between a feeling of use that minimizes the feeling of multiple joints and resilient strength. The guides are mainly made of durable stainless steel frames and SiC rings by Fuji, and some models are equipped with ALL double foot guides, assuming use in tough environments.
Huerco rods are designed to fit within the limit of 60cm to enable the rod to meet the carry on limits for most airlines. All rods easily fit within a small suitcase which can be "checked in" eliminating the need to take a bulky rod tube when travelling.
