This is the Power Plus version of the XT711R-5S, the all-purpose standard shore casting model. While maintaining its long-distance casting capabilities, the blank's power has been increased, allowing for a casting weight of up to 60g, roughly double that of the standard XT711-5S and 15g heavier than the previous model. All guide sizes have also been increased by one to two sizes compared to the standard. This allows for the use of thicker lines and the ability to target larger fish. This rod can cast and work small stickbaits, topwater walkers, small poppers, minnows and a wide range of soft baits.
The XT711R-5S Plus can target anything from barramundi, trevallies, tuna species, queenfish, snapper and light coral flats fishing.
Huerco rods are designed to fit within the limit of 60cm to enable the rod to meet the carry on limits for most airlines. All rods easily fit within a small suitcase which can be "checked in" eliminating the need to take a bulky rod tube when travelling.
Each Huerco rod comes with a travel bag and tube.
