Maria have come up with the 105mm 40g rerise to go with the bigger 130mm version as an alternative and more realistic lure to use when a jig isn't producing bites. Slightly slower sinking it has a very natural fall through the water picking up strikes on the pause after being worked back up through the water column. The best retrieve action is 3-5 moderate sweeps followed by a few seconds (or more) pause to let the lure flutter back.
