The Iron Will Series is a collaboration between Nature Boys and rod developer and manufacturing company Taper & Shape. This has been a long awaited desire for the legendary Nature boys pro staffer Papa Otsuru.
The blank uses a 24t unified elastic graphite material designed by Taper & Shape. Despite its power-oriented design, its distortion-free bend curve combines sharpness and tenacity that you wouldn't expect from a 24t and has excellent flexibility, This gives your jig an excellent lively action with minimum effort.
The IWPS-527BWPF model has incredible power at the bottom end still possessing a relatively soft tip making for great angler comfort during long battles as well as giving your jig an excellent action. It's going to be perfect for large kingfish, amberjack and samson fish as well as tuna and dogtooth tuna.
Despite being specifically designed for seriola species we think it's an excellent choice for using heavy jigs in deep water for giant blue eye and bar cod.
