The KM Koubou Illex 180W Popper was created as a successor model to the Gaina series which was a very popular model in the range. The Illex is a versatile lure that can be used for popping (long, short), splashing, walking the dog and long diving with a bubble trail. The Ilex is designed to emphasize popping actions initially so it can attract fish easily, then tempt the bite through the swimming action. It also has great capabilities as a searching lure, so is ideal as a first choice when prospecting a new area.
