The Fokeeto Twitch rod has been one of the most successful and popular rods in the Zenaq range. This updated version utilizes new carbon and resin technology for improved sensitivity, casting distance and better lure manipulation. The rod retains the punchy, responsive action and low down power that was loved in the original. The FC73-3 is the ideal light tackle offshore rod for anything from smaller poppers, minnows and stickbaits through to larger soft plastics and vibration baits. The rod suits PE3-4 lines and reels such as Shimano 6000 Stella or Daiwa 4000 saltiga.
This rod is right at home chasing longtail tuna, mackerel, salmon and bonito in the bays, small to mid-size kingfish in the washes, offshore snapper and shallow water reef species. This is the perfect topwater rod for the coral flats too; the power comes on quickly through the mid-section of the blank, allowing firm hooksets and keeps the fish from turning its head back to the reef.
