The D-Claw Beacon 230 wooden popper is similar in design to its resin model with a wider profile and more buoyancy from the wood construction. The Beacon 230 is a super effective lure when casting at large kingfish and tuna species due to its long slim profile. It has a long foamy bubble trail when swept long and steady but can also create a decent bloop with a short stab of the rod. As well as kingfish and tuna species the Beacon 230 will attract GT's, spanish mackerel and all sorts of large reef fish.
