The TBO series of stickbaits from FCL Labo have excellent swimming actions and the 220 Slim is no different. The TBO 220 Slim is nose up floating stickbait that is very easy to swim making it a great all rounder stickbait. The Slim model really tapers in after the head which makes for a tighter more appealing action especially when chasing tuna species and fussy kingfish. It is best worked by leaving some slack and steadily sweeping your rod so it will chop under the surface and swim with an enticing S action creating a lot of flash and bubbles. Worked slowly the TBO 220 Slim can be worked side to side or a walk the dog action when the bite is subtle. This stickbait will work great in rougher conditions thanks to its nose up position helping keep the lure from ripping out of the water when working it.
Since it's release the TBO series has been incredibly successful with outstanding captures of kingfish, tuna, GTs, mackerel as well as many species of reef fish such as red bass and coral trout.
