Hippo D100 Carbon Fiber Swimming Popper by Fish Head

The Fish Head Hippo D100 Carbon Fiber Swimming Popper is the slimed down version of the original Hippo 135. Hand made locally on the Gold Coast Australia, this carbon bodied diving popper creates a big presence in the water with minimal effort. The body has outstanding durability and strength along with an action that is unmatched by conventional swimming poppers. A long steady stroke allows the Hippo to drag a large bubble trail across the surface while it wiggles seductively diving and popping. Short sharp stabs of the rod will get the Hippo D100 popping and diving with a more loud blooping noise with foamy bubbles. 

Designed around a 3mm extra heavy duty plate interior and carbon fibre exterior. The lure is made in 2 stages: firstly a hard foam core, then compression molded carbon fibre outer, for maximum durability with monster predators. These diving poppers are very buoyant meaning you can float large terminals if chasing bigger predators like GT's.

The Hippo D100 Swimming Popper is deadly on GT's, kingfish, tuna species, mackerel and a large host of large reef species like coral trout, red bass and wrasse species.
