The Keiko Ocean Popper Rv is designed to throw plenty of water and make a large foaming bubble trail - perfect for enticing a wide range of predators! This version of the Ocean Popper has a deep angled cup (29mm tall x 29mm across) which catches a large stream of bubbles and helps create the loud blooping sound when ripped hard. The slim body design casts well in all conditions for pinpoint casts at fast moving fish and is easy to pull through the water using a variety of rods. The body sits at a moderate angle in the water, promoting stability in choppy conditions as well as showing a large profile to the target fish. It can be swum with long steady pulls, maximising the bubble trail or in short aggressive rips to make the blooping sound that big fish love!
Designed by master lures craftsman Hideyuki Tanaka, the Keiko Ocean Rv is a traditional wooden lure, with 2mm through-wire and stainless swivel.
GTs, Tunas, kings and mackerel are all excellent targets for the Ocean Popper Rv along with large reef flats dwellers.
