The 5-piece long spinning model "XT711-5S Plus" has been specifically designed for long distance casting where you need some extra distance. This model can happily cast all types of lures including stickbaits, casting plugs, diving minnows and soft baits. This would make the ideal travel companion for targeting smaller trevallies, bonito, emperors, rockfish and seabass fishing. The Huerco XT711-5S Plus will suit reel sizes from 4000-6000 in size.
The XT "Expeditionary Tuned" series is a "tough" model that covers a wide range of fishing needs, from everyday fishing to hard fishing trips. The XT series combines different materials to maximize the characteristics of each rod. It has a good balance between a feeling of use that minimizes the feeling of multiple joints and resilient strength. The guides are mainly made of durable stainless steel frames and SiC rings by Fuji, and some models are equipped with ALL double foot guides, assuming use in tough environments.
Huerco rods are designed to fit within the limit of 60cm to enable the rod to meet the carry on limits for most airlines. All rods easily fit within a small suitcase which can be "checked in" eliminating the need to take a bulky rod tube when travelling.
Each Huerco rod comes with a travel bag and tube.
