Slimane 220 by SOHO Japan is the new smaller version of the popular Slimane 300 created by Takahiro Komaki. This hand made timber lure has been crafted to resemble long slim baitfish like needlefish and pacific saury's. To get the most out of the Slimane 220 the recommended technique would be short and long sweeps of the rod creating an erratic swimming action. You can also play around with slower stabs of the rod to get it walking side to side with bubbles and splashes. Although Slimane 220 is relatively lightweight due to its slim body, its streamlined shape offers excellent casting performance with minimal air resistance.
Perfect for chasing yellowfin tuna, bluefin tuna, kingfish, GT's, spanish mackerel and a wide range of large reef species.
