The Chibi Short jig is a shorter more compact version of the Uroco original jig, coming in lighter options for using a more finesse approach. It features the same relaxed fall from a quick darting action with side edges of the tail creating drag at the rear of the jig. This resistance makes it easy to turn the jig to the side quickly meaning an excellent action can be achieved with less force. Since the Chibi Short jig will respond to both slow pitch and high speed techniques, you can enjoy jigging with various combinations targeting a multitude of species.
The Chibi Short jigs work either from a boat light jigging through to an excellent shore casting jig. Target species include tailor, salmon, tuna species, snapper, bream, trevally, queenfish and mackerel.
