CC40 Short Floating Popper by FCL Labo

FCL Labo CC40 Pop Short is a brand new shortened body size in the popular CC Pop range of poppers by Japanese lure craftsman Yoshitaka Tsurusaki. The CC40 Pop Short is a shortened down version aimed at giving you a smaller profiled popper that can still catch large topwater fish. At 140mm long and weighing in at 100g (Unrigged) this little popper casts a mile and has the ability to float decent sized (4/0) trebles with ease. Even when using large trebles the CC40 Short will float horizontal in the water.

The CC40 Pop Short (Cookie Cutter) has a metal cup sleeved onto a resin body creating a durable popper that casts like a bullet and and has a very consistent action. The thin lip of the metal cup allows the lure to dig in easily and create a loud bloop that is completely different sounding to wood, hard foam resin and plastic poppers. The action is very easy to be achieved with this lure making it the ideal popper for a wide range of species and techniques. Short stabs of the rod will get the CC40 Short working with an aggressive loud blooping. Longer controlled sweeps will get the CC 40 Short popping and wiggling just under the surface with a nice bubble trail. 

Perfect for targeting GT's, tuna species, kingfish, mackerel, coral trout, red bass, wrasse species (where applicable) and large reef species all over the world.
