The "Trent Guide Series'' is a floating minnow for trout that was developed with the aim of achieving a heavier sinking minnow casting distance. This was achieved by using high-density tungsten weights in the fat body, as so to maximize the amount of air in the body of the lure. The Torrentguide 50F has a sharp swimming action and a low center of gravity made of high-density tungsten, which is a characteristic of floating, and produces a sharp wobbling roll on a straight retrieve. In addition when using rod actions such as tight jerks and ripping, the body twists wide and flutters, making the fat body very appealing. All Kinoe lures are designed for trout but a few aspiring local bream anglers have had some great success on these in recent weeks out fishing some popular house name brands in the bream scene.
